Climb the Heights
Join us climbing the tower at Wells Overlook Park for an expansive view of Lawrence. Afterwards, we will take a walk on the short nature trail. Bring walking shoes and warm clothes!
Campus Walk - January 25, 2019
While not quite in the wilds of nature, join us for a walk on the KU campus. In case of bad weather we will visit the Natural History Museum.
Nature Walk - December 28, 2019
The North Slope of the South Shore
Subject to weather conditions, the plan is to take a nature walk along the south side of Clinton Lake, December 28 at 3 p.m. Carpool from church or meet at the South end of dam. Various trails along the shore traverses low lying areas and the ridges of the slopes. A surprising find is a layer of large limestone rock along Horeshoe pass.
